Looking to service a technique or process in your business to maximum capacity?
Another business could be the answer and that’s what transformation is about. It’s keeping the innovation going and looking at a possible cost reduction to improve the effectiveness of a business. Some of the areas that can benefit from a business transformation include recruitment, marketing, project management among many others.
We asked entrepreneurs about the business that could transform their business and here are the insightful responses.
#1- A consultancy firm
That would have to be a consultancy firm that specializes in cost containment. We're constantly looking for ways to grow, and with this comes paying serious attention to the costs associated with running my business and expanding our customer base. My goal is to lower these costs that are associated with scale so a financial consultancy firm that can give sound advice on how my business can improve the cash flow, improve new marketing tactics at minimum cost, and expand to new markets can certainly support growth.

#2- Drone delivery company
My company is a small-scale online retail company and one of our major challenges is proper logistics. Customers are getting more and more demanding with their delivery needs and urgency. A drone delivery company will offer a great boost to the way we conduct business. For starters, several problems encountered during traditional delivery will be instantly eliminated. Also there will be far less cases of late or incorrect delivery, as goods can be sent out on request to the exact location of the customer.

#3- Content marketing
I recently launched a business into the B2B software space which is, as you’d probably imagine, extremely saturated. The key to a lot of success stories in this industry appears to be great content marketing, so I think a great content writing and/or marketing company could really help us to make an impact much sooner than we will simply by bootstrapping as we are now. For example, if you search on Google for things like “lead generation tools”, or “b2b leads”, two very relevant terms for our business, the majority of results are fantastic blog posts that are simply hard to compete with without extra resources.

#4- AI
I work in the SEO and Webdesign industry. AI is the industry that will change this industry the most. For example, content creation is a corner piece of the SEO realm. There are many different AI powered content creation services online. They still have along way to go in terms of quality. However, we are looking forward to the day clicking of a button and having an instant 2,000 word high quality blog post!

#5- Two businesses
As a company working in the fresh-faced CBD industry, we’re operating in an exciting field in its infancy. While this allows for business innovation it also means that regulation hasn’t quite kept up. Brands have to focus on rigorous testing throughout their supply chains (from heavy metal and cannabinoid analysis to myotoxin and stability testing) to ensure a safe product that consumers can have confidence in. On the other hand, studies have shown that some products contain less than the advertised levels of CBD. We’ve already seen changes in that the industry now requires the use of QR codes for traceability and information about product composition. However, we believe that regulatory advances, with bodies such as the FDA becoming quicker and more dynamic in their reactions could revolutionize the industry and give responsible brands more freedom to operate.

#6- Digital solution for production management
As a video production business that works with new clients on a daily business, our business operation is really open to working with any kinds of business in the digital space. But in terms of impact, these business do not impact us that much. However, as a company, we’re always looking to improve and better manage our processes so if there was a digital solution that could really intrigue us that it’s bringing something new in terms of production management, it could really have a great impact on our business.

#7- Having an integrator
Having an integrator involved in your business is a complete game-changer. As a self-identifying visionary, I used to get lost in the whimsical details of my projects and having an integrator who has the big picture in mind has been my saving grace. Her strategy coupled with my vision makes us an unstoppable duo in the pursuit of our mutual goals. As Gino Wickman, says in his book Rocket Fuel, with regard to the visionary and the integrator, One sees the future, the other makes it happen.

#9- Home workplaces
I believe the workplaces of the near future will offer the option that most (if not all) employees work from home at least part of the week. This will provide far more work-life balance reconnecting people with their families. It will also introduce new stressful situations and challenges traditionally addressed by therapists, employee assistance programs, and medical practitioners. To transform your business, bring a level of these services inside your organization by hiring HR professionals with skills, certifications, and experiences to coach all employees. Having a team of coaches addressing issues in the moment, on the spot will lead your organization to profitability as employees will be happier, more productive, and provide better service to customers.
