SizeUp Tool Give Small Businesses Access to Customized Business Intelligence

Recently, the Small Business Administration made an announcement that they were making the SizeUp tool available to all business owners. While businesses do fail at an alarming rate, SizeUp provides an opportunity for small to medium sized businesses to access data analysis to discover insights and trends to make smarter decisions.

The tool is available on the Small Business Administration website and allows business owners to perform a data analysis based on location and industry.

According to its website, SizeUp, which launched in 2011, is a tool for small to medium-sized businesses which comprise 99.99% of all business in the US. The company identifies this as a under-served segment which it hopes with its data will be able to help businesses see how they size up to competitors, help increase and generate revenue, help market their products and services, outperform competition, find opportunities and reduce the likelihood of failure.

SizeUp donated the license to the SBA so that the widget could be used on the site free of charge.
