This generation, born between 1997 and 2012, is known for its tech-savviness, desire for work-life balance, and preference for collaborative and inclusive work environments. To effectively manage and engage Gen Z employees, it is important to recognize and value the diverse perspectives and skills that each generation brings to the table and create a culture of respect and inclusion.

So, as a manager, I make sure to provide clear goals and feedback, but also give them the freedom to work in their own style. They thrive on collaboration and technology, so I encourage a culture of open communication and provide them with the latest tools and resources to excel. #2- Embrace and leverage their digital savviness

#3- Pay heed to cultural shifts

At the management level, we're an agency of millennials. However, we like to think we're a self-reflective bunch, and can recognize where we might be falling behind in terms of cultural shifts. As we're in the creative industry, it is so, so important that our work remains modern and relevant, and therefore we like to include, and on occasion, defer to our Gen–Z employees. We know they don't have all the answers but we respect their ideas and will ensure they are heard. This helps create a trusting and effective partnership that both parties benefit from, and ultimately, so too does the business.

Currently, we have a diverse workforce at my company, including members from Generation Z, & my approach to managing them is based on open communication, mutual respect, and understanding of generational differences. I believe in fostering a positive work environment that values individual strengths, promotes collaboration, and encourages continuous learning. I found that this generation is highly tech-savvy and resourceful, which can be leveraged to drive innovation and efficiency in our business processes.
