#1- Midjourney
This year has been the year of AI. Midjourney in particular has revolutionised the way I work; helping me to create better proposals and concept art, streamlining the pre-production process for animations, and in multiple cases, helping us to win new work. As a resource, Midjourney has become part of the process for a lot of our pitching and pre-production work.

#2- Data analytics for marketing
In 2023, our most valuable hack at SocialSharings has been leveraging data analytics to fine-tune our marketing strategies. We've embraced advanced analytics tools to decipher user behavior, allowing us to tailor our approach and enhance user engagement. This data-driven approach has optimized our marketing spend and provided valuable insights into customer preferences. #3- Micro-influencers
These unsung heroes – I think it’s safe to call them that – often overlooked in favor of flashier marketing maneuvers, have proven to be invaluable to my business. Through personal connections and genuine collaborations, we've crafted authentic narratives that resonate with my audience. This year, leveraging these micro-ambassadors has expanded my company’s reach and created a loyal crew of customers who champion our brand with fervor.

#4- Online surveys and feedback
Online surveys have become an invaluable strategy for my business lately. It's cost-effective and highly authentic. Our team delves into the audience's needs, preferences, and feedback through these surveys, offering a direct line to understanding market dynamics. We're also able to create insightful blogs and visual content as source magnets for other websites, which is effective for generating organic traffic and backlinks. It's been a powerful strategy, fueling our understanding of the market while boosting our online presence and engagement in a meaningful way.

#6- AI to generate passive leads
This year I used AI to generate leads for my my digital agency literally while I sleep. The Ai chatbot demonstrates to a business owner how Ai can work for their business and then offers to book a meeting with me. I literally wake up to new appointments in my diary with people who are pre-qualified because they have had a great experience with my Ai chatbot. Totally changes the conversations you have with business owners when they have already experienced how you can help their business.

#7- ChatGPT
The most used hack/tool that I've used this year is ChatGPT. It has certainly hit the market by storm and saves me hours every day in programming time. The key part of running a SaaS is coding new features and managing the current code base. And while ChatGPT doesn't have all the answers it certainly gets you 80% of the way there. ChatGPT will readily do all the typing for you so you can move from a creation mindset to editing and reviewing what is said.
