Podcasts are booming and especially for entrepreneurs and business owners, it is a way to continue to grow and develop our leadership, marketing and even sales skills while continuing to run our ventures. Business owners only have so much time to execute and complete the millions of things on our to-do list so anyway that we can multi-task in an efficient way is a great opportunity. Podcasting is a good way to do that. While driving or walking the dog, podcasts offer a way to learn and grow while sometimes completing other tasks. We also added a podcast to our blogging community and we wanted to hear from entrepreneurs some of their favorite business or entrepreneurial podcast.
#1- The James Altucher Show and The Tim Ferriss Show
What I think is so profound about both of these podcast hosts is that they are not interviewing their guests, they are having a conversation with them and those conversations dive deep into the guest psyche to better transport the listener to where the guests state of mind was when they were going through different stages of building their business. This adds a lot of context which is very important in any situation where the audience is seeking guidance and advice. Listeners can’t walk away from an episode thinking that one’s success was based on luck or that it happens over night. I think both podcasts remove the excuse not to hustle and grind.

#2- Side Hustle Pro
My favorite business podcast is Side Hustle Pro. The podcast, hosted by Nicaila (Matthews) Okome, features black women entrepreneurs who have scaled their passions from side hustle to full-time entrepreneurship. When I found the podcast, I was trudging along in a 9-5 that I wasn't passionate about. Nicaila inspired me to plan, set goals, and execute. I've now retired from the 9-5, and am dedicating 100% to my own business: EBPR, a media company that creates entertainment and travel content for women like myself.

#3- Masters of Scale
Masters of Scale was easily my favorite new business podcast of 2017. The best way to describe Masters of Scale is a cross between Radiolab and Fresh Air. Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn and Partner at Greylock, serves as host. His guests provide honest, thoughtful insight into the creation, launch, and growth of their businesses. Since each episode is independent, I recommend starting with Episode #8, ‘Culture Shock' with Netflix's Reed Hastings. The episode provides interesting insight into how Netflix's intentional culture lead to the success we see today.

#4- The Influencer Podcast
My favorite business podcast as an online business entrepreneur is The Influencer Podcast with Julie Solomon. With each episode I gain incredible insight on everything from how to speak to my audience in an engaging way to create a community and sales, how to generate business and to how to find and pitch brands for partnerships. I find myself listening to each episode multiple times catching something new each time. I love how Julie and her guests share what they have learned that works, what doesn't that has helped them become successful so I, the listener, can be just as successful.

#5- Entrepreneurs on Fire
Currently, my favorite business podcast is Entrepreneurs on Fire with John Lee Dumas. Every episode features an interview with a successful entrepreneur across all industries with an inspiring story to tell. This podcast goes live seven days a week, but is easy to listen to on the go with episodes clocking in around 20 minutes each.

#6- The Media Captain's Digital Marketing, SEO, and E-Commerce Podcast
I love The Media Captain's Digital Marketing, SEO, and E-Commerce Podcast which was created by a brother-sister duo who own both a digital marketing agency and an e-commerce site. They have a lot of great insight into many different kinds of businesses and offer excellent and actionable tips for business owners. They talk a lot about their personal experiences in business and give sound advice about running and growing a successful company. The podcast is entertaining and always covers topics that I'm excited to hear about.

#7- Two podcasts
Legends and Losers by Christopher Lochhead Why: Christopher is a seasoned silicon valley CMO and author of the legendary book Play Bigger. He features amazing guests on his Podcast for real conversations that are casual, insightful and really informative. CEOs who aim to become category kings need to know about this one! The second is Marketing School with Neil Patel and Eric Siu.Why: two of the smartest growth hackers I know. Their podcasts are super short (under 6 minutes) and full of action-oriented tips from the trenches. A must listen for CEOs that are looking for useful tips on marketing and growth.

#8-Entreleadership
My favorite business podcast is Dave Ramsey's Entreleadership. There are always great conversations with thought leaders and authors on very interesting and relevant topics. They give so much information away that I never feel like it is a teaser to buy the books from their guests (but I often do because they are THAT good). I have learned so much about being a better leader through listening to this podcast over the years.
